Editorial policy
Vibrant Comedy Guide aims to make thoughtful, readable work about comedy. We distinguish what can be checked from what is interpretation, and we correct errors plainly when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual details against material appropriate to the subject and take care not to present an interpretation as settled fact. Where a point is uncertain, disputed or dependent on context, we say so. Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page; useful details include the article title and the passage in question. When a correction is warranted, we update the article and make the change clear in its context.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for their relevance to comedy and their value to readers. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions or entitle a partner to editorial approval. We do not present paid promotion as independent editorial work.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, sponsored or partner material is identified clearly where it appears, so readers can distinguish it from editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI. When an illustration is AI-generated, we label it as such; it is not offered as documentary evidence or as a real photograph.
A laugh can be carefully made
We attend to the choices beneath the surprise: the word that shifts a sentence, the pause that lets a joke breathe, the character who sees a room differently.
